Description

The 'Golden Goddess' is a clumping bamboo, spreading very slowly by underground rhizomes. Its stiff culms reach 8' tall, and the foliage is moderately fine textured. It can be grown in sun or shade, with average to little summer watering. This bamboo responds well to fertilizing, and does excellent in containers. Also, it remains hardy to 20 degrees F. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
